Getting or replacing ID can be frustrating. Here are some tips to help smooth the process. Get your Birth Certificate first; you need it to get a Social Insurance Number or a Native Status Card. You need a Birth Certificate and another piece of valid government issued ID (Like a SIN card or a Care card) Before you can get a Driver's License, a BC ID card, or a Passport. Some things require picture ID. This means having a BC ID card, A Driver's License or a Passport.
