| ANGER |
The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines it as: a feeling of extreme displeasure, hostility, indignation or exasperation toward someone or something.
It isn't:
- Blaming (finger pointing)
- Sarcasm (joking at someone else's expense)
- Violence (physical or verbal)
- Revenge (getting even)
- Cruelty (hitting below the belt)
- Punishment (teaching someone a lesson)
- Bullying (pushing people around)
- Sulking (the silent treatment)
- Manipulating others to get your way
- Taking it out on the innocent
It is:
- A normal human emotion
- A part of being assertive
- A gateway towards identifying "real" feelings
