Wilp Si Satxw House of Purification

THUY NAMUT PROGAMGrounded in native culture and tradition, this is a 40-day intensive residential program available to First Nations people. Holistic in nature, the program is for those who are ready to put substance abuse behind them. Through carefully developed therapy experiences that build on existing strengths and aspirations, each participant discovers their own unique pathway for continuing recovery from the effects of alcohol and drug abuse.

The Waypoint Program (PLEA Community Services Society of BC)

Residential Addictions treatment for male youth between 12-18 years of age. Waypoint is a four month program with 7 beds for adjudicated youth, and 1 bed available for privately funded youth.

Tupper Young Parents Services

Tupper Young Parents Services is a collaborative program involving the Vancouver School Board and the Y.W.C.A.

Together We Can

Together We Can Society (TWC) has emerged in the last decade as one of British Columbia’s leading residential treatment programs for men challenged by drug and/or alcohol addiction. Located in Vancouver, clients live as a part of a supportive residential community where they participate in group therapy and an integrated treatment program. The first stage residential program accomodates 42 males aged 19 years or older, who share 5 comfortable homes in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

Three Bridges Community Health Centre

Primary care, needle exchange, methadone, alcohol and drug counselling and acupuncture. Youth only hours.

Aurora  Treatment Centre

Located in Vancouver at BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre, the Aurora Centre has been providing addiction treatment services to women for over thirty years. Aurora is the largest women’s-only treatment facility in B.C. providing both residential and day treatment services with twenty-nine beds and space for 10 people in the day treatment program. We also conduct reasearch on women and addictions and take a leadership role in promoting improved addiction services to women in BC.

Passport Canada

Pick up a passport application kit at the office. You must fill out the form, have passport photos taken, get a doctor, lawyer, or other professional person to “vouch” that the photo is in fact you. You'll need your birth certificate and one other piece of valid id in order to get your passport. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get and costs $87.00. A passport is required in order to enter other countries. It is also a good form of picture identification.

Pacifica offers a Continuum of Care in a residential treatment setting to help individuals and their families deal with the consequences of addiction and discover the promise of recovery.

North Wind Healing Centre

The NWHC offers affective-based, culturally appropriate programming for Aboriginal People struggling with multi-addictions. Emphasis is on empowering the participants to process past abuse issues that serve as catalysts for substance abuse. This is accomplished primarily within the protection of the Sacred Circle.

Aboriginal Men's Treatment Centre.    Offers 7 and 8 week Early Recovery Stabilization Programs

Daughters and Sisters Program (PLEA Community Services Society of BC)

Unique residential addiction treatment for female youth between 12-18 years of age. Daughters and Sisters is a six month program with 7 beds available for youth referred by probation officers in BC.  Beds are also available on a private, fee for service basis to youth throughout Canada.

Burnaby Center For Mental Health and Addictions

A secured mental health facility, containing a 30-bed stabilization unit and a 70-bed treatment unit. Houses integrated mental health, addictions and primary care residential services.
