Sto:lo Youth Healing Centre

The Sto:lo Youth Healing Centre is and eight bed co-ed facility. We provide a treatment program for aboriginal youth as a condition of their Probation Order. The term for treatment is 4 to 6 months depending on youth's progress.

Mosaic Legal Advocacy Project

Provides services in the areas of poverty, law and immigration to low income immigrants and refugees.

Call to book an appointment. 2nd & 4th Tuesday/month 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Lawyer Referral Service

Referrals to lawyers by legal issue. Lawyers charge only $25.00 fee for half-hour consultation. During this time fees are negotiated, but some well-organized questions can get answers.

Law Line - Legal Service Society

LawLINE is a free phone service of the Legal Services Society (LSS) designed to help people who don't qualify for a legal aid lawyer to represent them. We provide brief information about print and website resources to help you resolve your legal problem referrals to other services if LSS cannot help legal advice

Downtown Eastside Resident’s Association (DERA)

DERA is an organization of residents working towards improving the living conditions in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.DERA organizes around issues of concern to the community as well as providing housing, advocacy, and community support programs and services. DERA assists neighbourhood residents with welfare rights issues, pensions, Employment Insurance, and income tax preparation.DERA also provides information and assistance for those seeking accommodation in the neighbourhood, and advocacy in residential tenancy disputes.
