Justice Access Centre

The justice access centres are the place to come when you need help with family and civil law issues that affect your everyday life, such as separation or divorce, income security, employment, housing or debt. We offer a range of information and services designed to help people find an early and affordable solution.

Access Pro Bono

Access Pro Bono promotes access to justice in BC by providing free (pro bono) legal services to people and non-profit organizations of limited means.

Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS)

The purpose of CLAS is to provide legal advice and assistance and to use and develop the law for the benefit of people who are physically, mentally, socially, economically or otherwise disadvantaged or whose human rights need protection.

Pivot Legal Society

Pivot is a legal advocacy organization. We represent and defend the interests of marginalized communities affected by poverty and social exclusion through strategic litigation and public advocacy directed at government. Pivot Legal Society has four main campaign areas: homelessness and housing justice, sex work law reform, drug policy, and policing and police accountability.

MPA Society Court Services Program

The MPA Society Court Services Program operates in Vancouver and Surrey and provides assistance for individuals experiencing the effects of mental illness and addictions, who have become involved in the criminal justice system. Our assistance occurs as friends of the court inside and outside of the courthouse.

Legal Services Society (Legal Aid)

Legal information, advice, and representation for those with low income.

Law Students Legal Advice Program (LSLAP)

LSLAP is a non-profit run by law students at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. We provide free legal advice and representation to clients who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance.Our clinics are located throughout the Lower Mainland.
